Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights 2023, or as some say, 32 is here! We were invited by Universal Orlando to cover Opening Night, and also attended opening weekend!
We started out by checking in at the VIP (RIP) Tour building and heading to Soundstage 33 where we were able to sample some of the food and beverage options offerings for the event this year.
We both enjoyed the Left Behind Ravioli and the Al Pastor Torta! Which are offered at The Last of Us Booth located in Sting Alley and Cafe LaBamba respectively. The number of dessert options were great as well and very tasty!
While we ate, we were greeted by Lora Sauls who gave us an overview of the 10 Houses, 5 Scareszones and the new version of Nightmare Fuel. Michael Aiello then introduced us to Neil Druckmann who is the writer and director for The Last of Us video game and he discussed how the relationship came to be starting 2 years ago on X (Twitter).
Dr. Oddfellow arrived, only as he can and welcomed all of us to Halloween Horror Nights 32! He is truly ICONic!
The time came where we joined up with our group and our tour guide for the night, Jeff! Once everyone was with us (12 people) we ventured out into the park for our night of spookiness!

Unfortunately, we didn’t get to experience Nightmare Fuel.
Saturday and Sunday we got to experience the Scarezones since we were unable to get much time in them on Media Night due to everyone wanting to complete all the houses!
