Universal Studios Florida didn’t create Scare Zones till 1994.

In 2007, Carnival of Carnage only featured one official Scare Zone at the start of the event. It was to be a roaming park wide Scare Zone. After the first weekend of the event, complaints and reviews by fans about the lack of Scare Zones and dead space prompted Universal to add a Scare Zone! Located in Shrek Alley, was a revised version of Treaks and Foons from 2002.
